I have many water damages in my apartment because of a faulty roof job and was struggling with the management to do repairs. I was afraid that there might have been mold growing because of a damp smell coming from the top floor and in the attic. I finally I got the insurance company to direct me to East Coast Mold Specialists so that I could submit a report to qualify for coverage. I called the office and they sent down two technicians and a Site Supervision named Marty Katz. They inspected the house and found the sources of the water damage. They told me that within 3 business days I would receive the report. I received tge report in 2 business days. I had a complete 50 page report to submit to my insurance and got reimbursed for all damages- even the structural damage I wasn't aware of. Thanks East Coast Mold Specialists. |

Better then the rest

I was a basket case with the mold problems in my home. I called many other places to no avail; then I called 5 boro. I screamed and yelled at the poor technician who only tried to help me. They discovered the mold problem and provided several options for me to choose from. They properly explained all the variables related to mold removal and the process that would be involved. I can only say that they did a great job and charged a fair price. They still call me every month to make sure everything is still ok. Who does this type of service anymore ? I can truly say That 5 Boro does a great job |

Helped my health and with court

I have a landlord that doesn't want to do anything. I had a mold issue in my apartment and the landlord wanted to paint over it. I told him that I wanted to get my apartment inspected because I felt sick. I asked a doctore and they told me about East Coast Mold Specialists. I called them and asked them for a solution to the issue. They told me of their proceedure and that all testing was valid in court. I decided to go with their inspection. They came and with 2 technicians and an On site manager. He informed me that the inspection wouldn't take any longer then 30 minutes. During the inspection they used many different types of equipment to scan the ceiling and all the walls surrounding the infected area. They even found the cause of the problem. The west wall needed repointing. I told the landlord the issue and he didn't want me to have the inspection and was making excuses for all the evidence. He didn't want me to go through with the removal and I did anyway. When I came back the spot was gone. I told the landlord he would have to reinburst me for the removal and he declined. I took him to court and I won; thanks East Coast Mold Specialists's assistance. |

Eradicates mold

I had a mold smell coming the floors in my hallway. I searched google and found East Coast Mold Specialists specialist as the top result. They told me that they could have someone come down to my house the next day. They came down with their technicians. They performed a the whole inspection and found where the mold was growing. After the inspection they gave me an estimate for the removal and 2 days later I recieved a report showing infrared pictures and actual pictures of the modl. I scheduled an appointment. They came the scheduled day on time and explained the proceedure and that I had to leave the house for abour 3-5 hours. I came back home and the smell was gone, ever since I haven't had a smell. East Coast Mold Specialists specialists are excellent. |

Allergy troubles

I was having serious allergies and I went to see my doctor. My doctor did a few blood test and found mold to be a possible cause. He recommended that I call East Coast Mold Specialists and have some test run by them to see if mold was lurking in my home. I called them and set up an appointment with them and they sent down their technicans. They set up airtest and swab samples in each room of my home. They then left and contacted me when I recieved my report. I read the report and found out I had a serious mold issue in the air conditioning unit. They recommended immediate removal and I ok'ed it. They told me I would have to leave the house for a few hours to allow it all to air out once the proceedure was complete. So I left, when I came back the air was cleaner, and my allergies were gone. After about 8 months now I've had no problems. East Coast Mold Specialists really have a hand on mold. |

I had a mold smell coming the vents in my home. I spoke to a friend and they recommended East Coast Mold Specialists. I called them and they told me that they could have someone come down to my house on a thursday. They came down with 2 technicians. They performed a full inspection on my home. They had air machines and an infrared camera. They showed me where all the moisture was coming from. Afterwards they sent me a report with pictures as well as a detailed explanation on where the source was located. They contacted me and scheduled a removal date. When they came I left and once I got back the smell was gone. Ever since I've had no smells coming from my vents. I would recommend East Coast Mold Specialists to any one with any smells and mold issues. |

Excellent Service by East Coast Mold Specialists

I had a serious mold issue in my attic, the smell from my attic was horrendous. I searched online for a mold removal company and found East Coast mold specialist, affliated with East Coast Mold Specialists. I called them up and their secretary was wonderful, she explained the whole process as well as how any money paid towards the inspection would be deducted into the removal and I would also receive a full report stating where the source of the mold was. I scheduled an appointment with them and they came a week later. The crew came and used infrared cameras to find there was a leak in my roof. They also showed me how far the mold has grown in my house. After the inspection about 3 days later I received a report with pictures and a process to remove the mold without any deconstruction. I scheduled a removal the next week and they came down. I left my house for the weekend so I can get away from the mess and when I came home and went into the attic the terrible smell was gone.I scheduled a roofer to fix the breach. It's been a year since and I still haven't had an issue with the attic again. These guys know what they are doing, and I recommend them to anyone who has any sort of mold issue. |
